For all the boxes ticked, the Bears skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was.

They will need Miller to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
