The one they had to fix is still broken. The Bills left offensive lineman untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.
Reaching for Benson left real value on the table behind him. They banked enough surplus on Ramsey to cover a lot of smaller sins.
They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 26 they get a three-down second-level presence. The biggest hole, addressed.
Kamari Ramsey slipping to the 91st overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Malik Benson in the 126th pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Nadame Tucker at pick No. 165 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A conviction pick on Domani Jackson at No. 168 that the board grades a round light. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
