B-
Arizona Cardinals
A franchise passer in Simpson headlines a B- weekend for the Cardinals.

· 0 steals
· 1 reaches
Start where it matters. The Cardinals took Ty Simpson to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the offensive line. The biggest hole, addressed.
In the 29th overall pick they get a franchise quarterback at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Anthony Hill Jr. at pick 34 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Derrick Moore at No. 65 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A straight-up fair deal on Genesis Smith at Round 4, Pick 4, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Jaeden Roberts in the 143rd pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
