B
Carolina Panthers
A solid, sensible weekend for the Panthers: B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Panthers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered. The back end got a real overhaul.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 19th overall pick they get an island corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Malachi Lawrence in pick 51 is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They took Connor Lew at par in slot 83, which is nothing to complain about. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
By-the-book stuff, Keyshaun Elliott at the 119th pick squarely in line with his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Tim Keenan III at Round 5, Pick 18 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Louis Moore at No. 159 is a conviction pick that outran the value. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
