Whoever sat across the table from the Rams should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
Cameron at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Foster has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th overall pick they get a matchup problem out wide. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They did well to land Max Iheanachor in Round 2, Pick 17, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Jake Golday slid further than he should have, and pick No. 70 is lovely value for the edge rusher. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They read the board right and Tacario Davis was the payoff at pick 115. A minor itch, scratched.
They will replay Josh Cameron at slot 207 for years; that is how good the value is. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They paid a round early for Diego Pavia in No. 232, more than the board wanted. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Bryce Foster in pick 239 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
