Call it larceny. Tyrone Tracy Jr. sat on the board until pick No. 183, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Every board in the league had Limmer lower, and that gap is the story.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 31 they get a double-digit-sack hope, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
Value with a capital V on Ja'Tavion Sanders in pick 47, a genuine coup. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
By-the-book stuff, Kamren Kinchens at Round 2, Pick 31 squarely in line with his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Steal is underselling it; Junior Colson at the 70th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Beaux Limmer at No. 107 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A quiet steal in slot 141: Isaac Guerendo for less than the market said. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They robbed the room for Tyrone Tracy Jr. here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
