The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Dwight McGlothern, Round 6, Pick 23, roughly 37 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
The Jones reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

They paid a round early for Jackson Powers-Johnson in pick 21, more than the board wanted. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
