The war room fell hard for Johnny Wilson, and it showed at pick 95: 30 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The Chiefs indulged a want in Newton while a need in quarterback stayed open.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
