The Raiders clearly saw something nobody else did in Jalon Daniels, taking him 80 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

That Nussmeier pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
