Nobody else had Keyshaun Elliott anywhere near the 61st pick. The Rams did, by 63 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
That Campbell pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th pick they get a building block for the line. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Keyshaun Elliott in the Round 2 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
A straight-up fair deal on Jonah Coleman at Round 3, Pick 29, value and slot in agreement. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Circle this one: DJ Campbell at pick 207 is a fall that decides a draft. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Jadon Canady is a better player than slot 232 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
