The Chiefs clearly saw something nobody else did in Dillon Johnson, taking him 39 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Put together, it is a D+.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Landing Nourzad that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
