It is the swing that defines the weekend: Tommy Eichenberg in slot 105, a good 41 spots before the room expected him. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. They banked enough surplus on Nourzad to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
