The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Chip Trayanum went at slot 188, a good 84 picks before the board was ready. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Tuimoloau.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
