Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Chiefs spent slot 209 on Kendall Milton, a name the board had a full 36 spots lower. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Nourzad falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
