The Dominic Zvada selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 70 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.

In No. 4 they get a go-to option on the outside, even if it was a touch early.
No drama and no debate, Gennings Dunker went about where he belonged in the 53rd pick. A minor itch, scratched.
Treydan Stukes at pick No. 76 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They reached a country mile for Drew Allar at slot 121, and the board is aghast. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Kaden Wetjen at the Round 6 slot jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
