You build a draft on nights like this. Jacob Cowing had no business being available in the 184th pick, and the Dolphins did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Cohen pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

In slot 21 they get a problem off the edge. The biggest hole, addressed.
No edge and no loss on Zach Frazier in No. 55; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Javion Cohen at the 158th pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Jacob Cowing in the 184th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Julian Pearl in Round 6, Pick 23 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A need, and now a little less of one.
