You could see the war room lean forward. Cornelius Johnson at pick No. 241 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
If Mahogany pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In slot 25 they get a plug-and-play piece up front at fair value. A real need, handled.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Christian Mahogany in pick 55, miles early. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
The board fumbled Xavier Worthy all the way to Round 3, Pick 25, and they scooped it up. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They barely believed it either: Isaiah Adams still on the board at the 158th pick. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Julian Pearl well ahead of where he belonged. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Tykee Smith in No. 198 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It adds depth where they could use a little.
