If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.

In pick 30 they get an every-down engine for the run game at fair value.
Shilo Sanders at pick No. 62 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Tyler Baron. A minor itch, scratched.
No edge and no loss on Tonka Hemingway in the 126th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They reached into another round for Bru McCoy, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Carson Hinzman at Round 6, Pick 30 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
