The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 49 spots for Tanor Bortolini, and value like that does not grow back.

Getting Vaki where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
