Boards are made to be trusted, and the Dolphins shredded theirs for Micah Morris. He came off 67 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.
Slaughter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Hit on Jeremiyah Love and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 18th overall pick they get a bell-cow for the offense at a price that makes it sweeter.
The board had Eli Stowers higher than Round 2, Pick 30, and the tight end fell to them anyway. The roster fit checks out.
They liked Bryce Lance enough to skip the value, taking him in pick 75. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
The board fumbled Jake Slaughter all the way to pick No. 87, and they scooped it up. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They reached into another round for Michael Trigg, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.

No drama and no debate, Marlin Klein went about where he belonged in the Round 5 slot. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Demond Claiborne in the 165th overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
