There is a lot to like until you notice edge rusher is still a hole. The Patriots never got to the one that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The cost of the Franklin reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. Chad Muma gives the group a proven body among the projects.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
