For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bills walked out of the weekend still thin at linebacker, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 1 of 9 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
