Somebody in pick No. 233 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Jha'Quan Jackson, the No. 179 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The cost of the Benson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
