Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. No fireworks, but a solid B.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Washington. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

In pick No. 5 they get a franchise quarterback at fair value.
Amarius Mims in Round 2, Pick 2 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The roster fit checks out.
Edgerrin Cooper in No. 37 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Keon Coleman in the Round 3 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They paid sticker price for Zak Zinter in pick 104, and that is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A top-tier cornerback at a bargain, Andru Phillips in slot 136, plain and simple. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
