The rest of the league had time to spare on Frank Gore Jr.; the Chiefs did not wait, grabbing him 51 spots ahead at the 173rd overall pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Coleman pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

With tight end, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
