The Packers went off the board in a big way for Tanor Bortolini, 52 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Call it a C and check back in two years.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. The Legette pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
