The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Ewers falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a long-term starter on the line, though the board says they badly overpaid. The biggest hole, addressed.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jihaad Campbell in the 47th overall pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Rylie Mills in slot 78 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
Quinn Ewers in pick 114 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A straight-up fair deal on Nick Nash at Round 5, Pick 14, value and slot in agreement. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
