The rest of the league will want that one back. Nicholas Singleton tumbling to the Patriots in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C- in the wash.

They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. It is not that Campbell is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
