The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Javontae Jean-Baptiste, 43 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Everything downstream of Bo Nix depends on Bo Nix, and the building knows it.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bullard pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
