No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the 49ers.

The 49ers bet big and early on Ephesians Prysock, 50 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.
The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 27 they get an anchor for the offensive line, even if it was a touch early. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Jake Slaughter at pick No. 58 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A conviction pick on Dametrious Crownover at No. 127 that the board grades a round light. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Kaleb Proctor at slot 133 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Ephesians Prysock in the Round 4 slot, miles early. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
A big swing on Nate Boerkircher at pick 139, well ahead of any board in the building. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
