More right than wrong for the Commanders, and a B- to prove it.

Everything else got attention, and tight end got none. That is a strange way for the Commanders to leave a draft. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
However the rest shakes out, Masses at that price is a win they earned. The Lew reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
The back end got a real overhaul.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 7th overall pick they get a ballhawk on the back end. More want than need.
They went early on Connor Lew in No. 71, and the value did not follow. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Hezekiah Masses at Round 5, Pick 7 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Jeff Caldwell at pick 187 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No drama and no debate, Jadon Canady went about where he belonged in the Round 6 slot. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They took Noah Whittington at par in slot 223, which is nothing to complain about. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
