There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Patriots started one anyway for Jordan Travis, 35 picks ahead of schedule. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
