Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons won the night they stopped Hood from sliding. Grade: B.
Somebody in the 48th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Falcons sat still while Colton Hood, the No. 25 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
