Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Packers to leave a draft.

On value alone, Abney II makes the weekend a net positive. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
