The phones were a trap the Saints kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.
They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Thomas to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Cooper Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
