There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Vikings never got to the one that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Johnson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
