After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They banked enough surplus on Chambers to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Reaching for Sinnott left real value on the table behind him.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
