The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to J.J. McCarthy, and the whole operation now runs on his development. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hadden. The Laube pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end it comes back to J.J. McCarthy, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
