B
Buffalo Bills
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bills and Demmings: B.
by Kenny proctor ·
2026 NFL Draft
· 7 picks
· 1 steals
· 1 reaches
The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Charles Demmings fell into the 168th overall pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Proctor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 26th pick they get a true top target at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They did well to land Kyle Louis in No. 91, just ahead of his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Kaleb Proctor at the 126th overall pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Louis Moore in pick 165 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The roster fit checks out.
You do not let a cornerback like Charles Demmings reach pick No. 168 and blink. They did not. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Anez Cooper at Round 6, Pick 1 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They paid sticker price for Bryson Eason in the Round 7 slot, and that is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
