When a board-topper like Sonny Styles slides to the 32nd overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Seahawks did not.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Stukes has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 32nd overall pick they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They went early on Treydan Stukes in No. 64, and the value did not follow. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Ted Hurst in pick No. 96 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Taylen Green in the Round 6 slot is fair value, right on his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
