Call it larceny. Danny Stutsman sat on the board until the 113th overall pick, and the Cardinals did not need to be asked twice.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They are betting Green proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 16 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Tyleik Williams at slot 47 squarely in line with his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Armand Membou slipping to pick 78 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
