After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Falcons committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
On value alone, Allen makes the weekend a net positive. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 8th overall pick they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Taking Keon Coleman in No. 43 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Kiran Amegadjie in slot 74 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
