Some picks age like wine; Max Llewellyn at the 125th pick will need to, sitting 28 spots clear of his grade. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
On value alone, Jackson makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 31st pick they get a go-to option on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
A quiet steal in the 63rd overall pick: Max Iheanachor for less than the market said. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Kamari Ramsey at pick 95 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Max Llewellyn. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Gracen Halton in slot 131 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Tanner Koziol slid further than he should have, and the Round 5 slot is lovely value for the tight end. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
