There is a lot to like until you notice wide receiver is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B.
They will need Dotson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They banked enough surplus on Graham to cover a lot of smaller sins.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 16 they get a wrecking ball inside at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
They paid sticker price for Jalen Milroe in the 47th pick, and that is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They took Donovan Jackson at par in the 78th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Mello Dotson at slot 113 is a conviction pick that outran the value. It adds depth where they could use a little.
