The tape said wait; the Eagles did not. Michael Barrett went at No. 210, a good 25 picks before the board was ready. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. It is not that Trotter Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Eagles had louder needs to answer first.
That Zinter pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

In No. 22 they get an island corner at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
