Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs let Barron fall and pounced. Final grade: B.
You build a draft on nights like this. Jahdae Barron had no business being available in No. 133, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Barron pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, tight end and other spots still on the board. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
