Every board in the league had Williams lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

A tight end of that caliber at No. 50 is the definition of value, full stop. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Taking Tyler Booker in the 58th pick is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They barely believed it either: Jihaad Campbell still on the board at the Round 3 slot. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
TreVeyon Henderson in slot 89 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
You do not let a wide receiver like Savion Williams reach pick 126 and blink. They did not. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Circle this one: Cam Skattebo at pick No. 165 is a fall that decides a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They will replay Lathan Ransom at the 171st overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Ben Sauls at Round 7, Pick 18 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
PJ Williams at the Round 7 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It fills a real need, too.
