The board owed the Eagles one, and it paid up: J.J. McCarthy, the No. 44 name on the board, sitting there at No. 87 like a gift left on the doorstep.
Every board in the league had Tupuola-Fetui lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 24th pick they get a ballhawk on the outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Steal is underselling it; Tyler Guyton at pick No. 58 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Xavier Worthy at the 59th overall pick is the proof. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

Cam Hart in the 163rd pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
