The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Jake Slaughter slide 34 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Dennis-Sutton pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
