It is the swing that defines the weekend: J. Michael Sturdivant in the Round 7 slot, a good 41 spots before the room expected him. No fireworks, but a solid B.
They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. The Reese pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

In No. 25 they get a three-down second-level presence, and a steal at that.
No drama and no debate, Christen Miller went about where he belonged in Round 2, Pick 25. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A.J. Haulcy in pick No. 62 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A minor itch, scratched.
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 3 slot with a little surplus value in Connor Lew. A need, and now a little less of one.
De'Zhaun Stribling at slot 111 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A real head-scratcher, Mason Reiger in pick 129 is miles ahead of his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Keagen Trost at the 165th pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A wild overpay on Eli Heidenreich in the Round 7 slot, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Thaddeus Dixon at pick No. 239 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
